How to Draw Brow Shapes on Latex from Scratch: Step-by-Step Guide

Play Video

If you’re practicing your permanent makeup skills and you don’t have a pre-printed guide on your latex, don’t worry. I’m going to share with you a straightforward way to draw beautiful eyebrows from scratch.

The Basics of Drawing an Eyebrow

It’s important to get the shape of the eyebrows right, because it makes such a difference on a person’s face. Here’s a simple method to draw a good eyebrow shape. You just need a ruler and something to draw with.

Start by drawing a straight line that’s 6 cm long. This will be the width of the whole eyebrow. Then, make a mark at 2.3 cm—this is where the highest part of the arch will be. For the beginning of the eyebrow, measure 1 cm for both the height and the width. For the end, or tail, of the eyebrow, we want it to be less thick, so we use 3 mm for the height.

Connecting the Lines

Once you have these measurements, connect them, making a point to keep the bottom line open for now—we’ll add a curve to this later for a natural look. As for the top line, go ahead and connect the points you made, but make sure to draw it lightly. This line is just a guide.

After connecting the lines on the top, go back to the bottom line and add a smooth curve to connect everything. This creates the lower arch. Do the same for the upper arch, adding a gentle curve that meets the tail of the eyebrow.

Ready to Practice

Now, with the shape drawn, you’re ready to practice the sand brow technique or any other style you’re working on. This method helps us ensure that we draw eyebrows that are even and suited to different face shapes when we’re actually working on real clients.

Keep Improving

I hope this guide helps you feel more confident about drawing eyebrows on latex. It’s a skill that takes practice, but once you’ve got it, you’ll be able to create beautiful, natural-looking eyebrows for your clients. And remember, if you need to see it in action, you can always watch the video for a refresher. Keep practicing and keep up the great work!✨✨
